Drayton Motors are currently seeking a Service Advisor Apprentice to join the dealership based in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is an exciting role with first-class training and outstanding long-term career prospects. The comprehensive programme provides you with an exciting and challenging opportunity to achieve formal qualifications through extensive product training as well as building up confidence and gaining valuable work experience whilst undertaking the role.
Duties will include:
• Working alongside qualified Kia Technicians with the investigation, repair and service of vehicles • Producing estimates
• Carrying out diagnostics
• Warranty work
• Assisting with MOT's on Kia vehicles
• Other general technical duties and general housekeeping
Ideal Candidate:
Excellent communication skills; passionate about the automotive industry; forward thinking and keen to learn with an interest in development and progression; hardworking; punctual; reliable; ability to use own initiative; must have a ‘can do’ attitude.
Qualifications required:
Excellent, general IT Skills and knowledge / experience of Microsoft Office, GCSE A*-C Maths, English & ICT or equivalent
Long Term Company Aims for the Learner:
Upon successful completion of your IMI Level 2 qualification, you will then have the opportunity to work towards your IMI Level 3 dependent on college assessment. There is high potential of a permanent role upon completion of your apprenticeship with room for progression. Your salary shall be reviewed throughout your apprenticeship.
Other important information:
The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
